Fast on a phone
Many people visit your site on their phone, often on mobile data. The site is made of ready-built files, so it is there straight away.
You never have to work on it
Updates, monitoring and technical maintenance are ours. You notice nothing, except that the site keeps working.
Little to maintain
No CMS, no plugins, no logins. That is a much smaller attack surface and far less maintenance than WordPress.
Privacy from the start
No trackers, no external fonts, no embedded maps. We keep no visitor logs with IP addresses.

You tell us what you do, who the site is for and what should be on it. Everything is in writing, so you can read back every agreement.

We build
You supply the words and the photos; we edit and structure them. Up to three revision rounds, each one as a single collected list.

We keep it running
The subscription starts when the site goes live. From then on the site is our concern, not yours.
We look after the website: hosting, updates, monitoring and working forms, all part of the subscription.

Every price is here. If it is not on this list, we do not charge for it.
Every amount is a final price: no VAT is added. Small enterprise under the Belgian VAT exemption scheme, so VAT does not apply.

Subscription, per month
Ongoing care is part of every subscription. On Basis too we handle hosting, updates, monitoring and working forms. Care adds one bundled content update every month.

A second language
An extra language version is a paid option and it is listed here, not negotiated in a quote afterwards. Setup: € 250 on a one-pager, € 390 on a site of 4 to 6 pages. Subscription: € 20 a month extra, on every plan.
You supply the text in every language; we build and maintain the language versions. The small correction included in your subscription counts as one change that we apply to every language version. We work in Dutch and English.
Terms
- A minimum term of twelve months, then monthly with 30 days' notice.
- The price is reviewed at most once a year, indexed moderately and announced two months in advance.
- Up to three revision rounds, each one as a single collected list. A fourth round costs € 85 an hour.
- Payment: half on acceptance of the quote, half before the site goes live. The subscription starts at go-live.
- The project clock starts only once all your texts and photos have arrived.
Who owns what
- The domain is registered in your name.
- Your texts and photos stay yours.
- After the minimum term you get the static build on request.
- The templates and the components stay with the studio.

Frequently asked questions
Is hosting part of the subscription?
Yes. Hosting is part of every subscription and is not sold separately.
Who writes the texts?
You do. You know best what needs to be said; we edit and structure what you send us.
What if something has to change?
Basis includes one small correction a month: contact details, opening hours, address or one photo. Care adds one bundled content update a month on top of that.
Is this safer than WordPress?
The site is made of static files, with no CMS, plugins or logins. That is a much smaller attack surface and far less maintenance than WordPress.
Does the site set cookies?
This site sets no cookies and loads nothing from another domain. For your own site we assess case by case whether a banner is needed.
Can I stop?
After the minimum term of twelve months the subscription runs monthly, with 30 days' notice. The domain is in your name and you get the static build on request.
Which languages do you work in?
Dutch and English. We do not do other languages: what we cannot read, we cannot maintain.
Is there telephone support?
No. Everything goes in writing, by email. That way every agreement is on the record and the price stays low.
